Before we send anyone

What we check

NVQ Level 3 in electrotechnical services, plus the AM2 assessment for qualified status
18th Edition wiring regulations, BS 7671, and whether the current amendment is held
ECS or JIB card grade and expiry, checked against the ECS database rather than a photo
2391 inspection and testing where the role involves EICRs or certification
CSCS or ECS site card for access, plus any CompEx, IPAF or PASMA tickets the site asks for
Right to work documents and references from the last two employers

For employers

Tell us the grade you need and the certification the job actually requires. Domestic rewires, commercial fit-out, EICR programmes and industrial maintenance all pull from different pools, and sending a domestic installer to a commercial site wastes everyone's week. We will say no to a brief we cannot fill properly.

For candidates

Send your CV with your ECS card, qualifications and the postcodes you will travel to. We will tell you honestly what your grade is worth in your area right now, and we will not put your details in front of a client without asking you first.
