Before we send anyone

What we check

Gas Safe registration checked on the register against the individual engineer, not just their employer
Domestic ACS tickets and expiry dates: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1 and CPA1
Commercial ACS where relevant: COCN1, CODNCO1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1 and CIGA1
Additional tickets such as LPG (CESP), unvented hot water G3 and legionella awareness
DBS check for social housing and any work in occupied homes
Driving licence and points for mobile roles, plus right to work and references

For employers

Domestic and commercial gas are different labour markets with different tickets, and an engineer with CCN1 and CENWAT cannot legally touch your commercial plant room. Tell us the work type, the boiler makes and whether it is service, install or breakdown, and we will match on tickets rather than job titles.

For candidates

Send your CV with your Gas Safe number and a list of your ACS tickets and renewal dates. If your tickets are close to expiry we will flag it early, because a lapsed ticket costs you the role and the renewal costs less than the lost weeks.
